1. Purpose

PORTÉE is a calendar of classical music concerts in Montréal. The service is free of charge for both the public and organizers. Use of the site constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2. Accuracy of Information

The information published originates from organizers or public sources. PORTÉE carefully verifies this content, but cannot guarantee its accuracy. Dates, times, prices, or availability may change without notice to the site. Please always confirm details with the organizer before attending. PORTÉE shall not be held liable for any inaccurate, outdated, or missing information.

3. Event Submissions — Rights to Provided Content

By submitting an event listing, you represent and warrant that:

• you possess the necessary authority to announce the concert in question;
• you hold all rights to the materials you upload—poster, photograph, text, recording—or have obtained written authorization from the rights holders, including, where applicable, the photographer, graphic designer, and any individuals depicted;
• these materials do not infringe upon any third-party rights.

You grant PORTÉE a non-exclusive, royalty-free, and revocable license to reproduce and display these elements on the site and in its sharing previews, solely for the purpose of announcing the concert.

You remain solely responsible for the content you submit. In the event of a claim by a rights holder, the content will be promptly removed and you will be notified.

4. Moderation

Every listing is reviewed prior to publication. PORTÉE reserves the right to decline, modify, or remove any listing, particularly if it is incomplete, inaccurate, off-topic, or contrary to these terms. Publication is never automatic.

Certain urgent updates—cancellation, sold-out status, time, price, ticketing link—may be published immediately by the organizer using their personal link, and notified to the editor.

5. Modification Link

The modification link sent by email is personal and confidential. Any alteration made using this link is deemed to originate from its holder. Do not share it; in case of loss or doubt, request its revocation.

6. No Paid Placement

No placement, ranking, or badge can be acquired through payment. Interview features are editorial content offered as a courtesy service; they confer no visibility advantage. This rule is non-negotiable.

7. External Links

The site links to ticketing platforms and organizer websites over which it exercises no control. PORTÉE is not responsible for their content, practices, or any transactions taking place thereon.

8. Site Ownership

The visual identity, structure, and editorial texts signed by PORTÉE are protected. The factual data of the calendar—dates, venues, programs—are made available under an open-access Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, provided the source is credited.

9. Amendments to Terms

These terms may be modified at any time. The date of the latest update appears at the top. Continued use of the site implies acceptance of the version in effect.

10. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Québec. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of the district of Montréal.
