Short interviews with the artists, to listen to before the concert.
What it is
A capsule is a short audio (or occasionally video) interview with an ensemble or performer, attached to their concert page — a few minutes to present the program, the idea behind the concert, or the performer themselves.
What it is not
A capsule is never a way to gain featured status. It does not improve rankings, grant any privileged position on the calendar, or add any badge of endorsement. It is content, not advertising — see our editorial charter. A concert without a capsule holds the exact same standing as a concert with one.
How it works
A short recorded interview (remotely or in person, depending on availability), which is then transcribed and subtitled in both languages prior to publication — a process that takes a few days. Nothing is published without verified subtitles in French and English.
Pricing
To mark its launch, capsules are free of charge. A modest fee will later be requested once the project is more firmly rooted in the Montreal landscape.
